Default Heat transfer design on Tackle Twill?

I was wondering if it was possible to create a vinyl transfer design and apply it to tackle twill? I had trouble finding a certain print of fabric (a specific bandana/paisley type) and wanted to create my own version instead. I'll be using it for sorority letters and just wanted to see if anyone would advise this...I have no clue about many fabrics so the last thing I want is to start seeing the design peel off after a few washes.

Well, Imprintables has a twill product you can press vinyl over. The vinyl acts as a sealer instead of the thread.

Also, if you want a specific finish on the twill - you can print a design on transfer paper and it apply it to the twill prior to cutting it out. I have done things like skylines, camoflauge and even concrete. You can get pretty creative by using a digital camera.
