Question Printers??

Hi folks. I have read and read the posts up & down forward and backwards, well, now I have a question that there doesn't seem to be a clear answer. Can you all help?

The facts:
16 X 20 heat press
Epson CX 5000 printer ( 8.5 X 11) W/ Durabrite ink
Pro world collection for stock designs.
24 Graphtec cutter
Thermoflex

That is the list as of now well most of it. Question is this; I have the chance to get my hands on an Epson 1280 printer with JBL spectrabrite inks in it now.
Do you think that it would be a wise choice or would I be better off with a CLC for transfers that I create?

As of now I am not to busy but things are steadily growing and I am getting busier by the day. I am thinking that I also would like to get into sublimation in the future and the thought of this epson being used for that well.....To MANY CHOICES!! Please help me with your recommendations!

I think the 1280 is a great printer. It will allow you to do a larger printer. The draw back is the 1280 has 6 colors of ink.Where as the cx5000and the c88 have 4 colors of ink.I know nothing about CLC though. i wish you well.... .JB

What would be a good price for a 3 year old low mileage 1280?
Anyone else have any thoughts on the color lasers?

Thanks
