I haven't been here in a while, I had to finish up school and pay some bills before I could finally be in the market for my Heat Press. Thank God! Well the Phoenix Phire is the press I originally wanted and still want. I have a few questions:

I wanted to know if the Phoenix is still the only auto-open clamshell on the market?

Is there anything better in 16x20 that auto-opens?

Is it possible to purchase the Phoenix Phire for no more than $1100 (new/used) shipped or picked up?

I would have posted the last question in classifieds, but I can't since I haven't been here in a while!

Ok, my press came in yesterday. Oh man I'm so excited I can't wait to use it.

I have some questions for you guys/gals.

When you're done for the day, do you let it cool down and leave the clam shell open?

Or, do you let it cool down and lock it closed with the little screw that came with it, when it was shipped?

Also when first plugged in and turned on the display says 200, one it warms up to the desired temp that will change correct?

You just leave the clam shell open when you're done.
