Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I don't think there is, as plastisol transfers will always be superior because it is "really" screen printing. Dye sub is great but you're limited to very light colored polyester or blends. If you're going to compare inkjet and laser printed transfers, lasers will generally give you better outcome.
What is the best combination of printer, ink and transfers to get the silk screen look? thanks
There are discussions here that say a Laser printer or a CLC, and the Phototrans Image Clip paper by Neenah will give you the silk screen feel. Some members also like the Duracotton OIL or HT. These papers are for white or light colored garments only.
