Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I would think you would be best served using a tool, I purchased from a member of the forum called a tee square it. You can find it at teesquareit.com. Lou designed this and it works great. If you need more info, check out the site and video. As far a s transporting the image, I would think you would use some type of transfer tape or mask. Good luck. .... JB
Sorry for the confusion, I was refering to the transfer mask... is there a special transfer mask to be heat pressed or the normal one used for vinyl decorations can stand the heat press temperature?
The steps are as follows:
- Print it
- Cut it
- Weed the Media (remove excess material from the printed media)
- Mask it (use a sign squeegee or an old credit card to make it sure that the mask is firmly on the image(s)
- Peel the Mask (separate the mask from the printed media - the graphic(s) should stick to the mask)
- Place the Mask on the Garment
- Check the Placement with a device or some type of measuring system

Sorry about that, I didn't read your post as closely as I thought....
