I am ordering some heat transfers in an orange. The PMS color is 165U. I was looking to order letters and numbers from another place, as they lay out each name for you at transferexpress.com when doing sports teams. Unfortunately, their orange is a 172C PMS color.

I am not familiar enough with PMS colors to know if that is a large difference or not and if you would be able to tell on a black 50/50 gildan t-shirt. The 172C names/numbers would be on the back and the 165U logo would be on the front.

Does anyone know if there is a large difference?

Any time. I think there might be too much difference, best to be safe than sorry.
