Default Pinching & burning/dirty press

Hello Guys
What does everyone do to get rid of the pinching marks left by the outliine of the platen after pressing?
Also I'm starting to get yellow marks left on my shirts that give the impression of burning, though I think this is not the case. I have cleaned the platen with water & washing up liquid but the marking is still there. Is there a better way of maintaining/ cleaning the press
Your help is greatly apppreciated
Woz

What is washing up liquid? You might look into a teflon sheet so you dont scorch your white gear.

Cheers Dave.
Washing up liquid is just the household stuff you use to clean the dishes.
Does the teflon sheet go on top of the shirt & transfer when pressing then?
I thought it just went underneath when printing front & back.
Plus is a teflon sheet just the same as the grease proof paper used for cooking?
Thanks

the teflon sheet goes between the upper platon and your transfer/shirt. I use it for white gear because of the yellowing effect of the press. The teflon skirt is fitted on the lower platon basically to protect it and when doing two sided prints. You can use craft paper and probably a hundred different kinds of paper but you might as well just get a teflon sheet...they last forever.
