Default Two-sided transfers??

Is it possible to put a heat transfer on both sides of a t-shirt? Is there a heat resistant pad or material that can be inserted inside the shirt so the second transfer doesn't compromise the quality of the first one?

Basically, I want to sandwich something inside the t-shirt so no heat (or very little) gets to the bottom where original transfer is. Thanks for your help!!

You might be able to use a teflon sheet. I might have heard someone using a mousepad as well.

we just pull the shirt over the lower platen so only one side gets heat.

A teflon pillow will work great. And use a teflon sheet under your shirt, between the shirt and the bottom platen.

Thanks for the info. Do any t-shirt press companies make teflon products or do I need to find one elsewhere?

Here is just one of many. Accessories Heat Transfer Materials for Vinyl Cutters from Beacon Graphic Systems
Just place between your shirt and the lower platen, thats all you need to do.

We press two sided plastisol transfers all the time. You need a teflon lower platon skirt. Just flip the tee and press away.

I'm assuming you were talking about inkjet transfers. Here's a link for a teflon pillow. But you may not need one. The teflon sheet may work fine.
Vinyl Cutters, heat presses, heat transfer material, transfer papers and heat printing supplies all at affordable prices.
