Ok, I finally broke down and ordered a hat press today. I'm planning on using companies such as First Edition and Transfer Express for bigger orders of say 10 or more hats.
What about the smaller orders? I would like to be able to do small one to a few hats on mostly colored hats in house with inkjet. Is this going to require opaque like tees do? I'm assuming it will.

What about vinyl? Is it a good option or would the designs be too small?

I really don't like the feel of opaque on tees. Does anyone use them on hats and if so how well do the work?

I'll shut up for now and see what you all that have hat presses say.

I use my hat press with vinyl all the time for hats, left chest shirt designs,and any other small application. You willfind your hat press will be used on more than hats. ....JB

As I don't have a hat press yet one of my clients has been ordering small size vinly designs that I cut and send to him as he has a friend that has a press and no cutter. I keep watching ebay for a deal.
