in need of help: where can I buy wholesale heat transfers?
Re: in need of help: where can I buy wholesale heat transfers?
Has anyone had any trouble with proworld? I politely asked for samples and was informed I could place the minimum order, but they "don't do samples". As an existing business owner, I know samples can get expensive , but I consider it a part of doing business. Am I wrong???
Re: in need of help: where can I buy wholesale heat transfers?
I started heat pressing a couple months ago and use proworld and also create my own. I have never had a problem with proworld and i just usually get 2-3 of a design and there customer service is top notch. I had a issue today and the gal basically walked me through everything and we got it fixed. Is there a reason why u want "samples"? on there site u can click application instructions on the design and also find out if it works with lights, lights/darks, or darks only. Hope this helps a little
darla
pm me if u have questions about them be glad to help

Hi Jim,
I've used ProWorld on and off for the last 5 years and never had a problem with them. They are friendly and will answer any questions you have. They will send you a catalog if you request it. Good Luck on finding the transfers you need.

Thanks for the posts guys. I used to be a sales/tech rep for the furniture finishing industry, so I guess my expectations are a lot higher than most. Also, since I've had two other businesses for several years, I've come to expect samples to see if I like it or not. Two other companies (Thompson Graphics and Transfer Express) did rush me out samples and catalogs the same day I asked, so I am impressed with their service. Perception depends on expectations

I think it depends on the business model. The other two companies you listed do "custom" transfers, so I can see why they would send you some transfers to see if you like their printing process.
ProWorldInc sells PRE-printed transfers of existing designs, so if you like the design, then you'll like the transfer. It's not the same as doing custom transfers with your design or your customers design. It is what it is
