Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
One of the problems it seems that a lot of us on the west coast have is getting deliveries from the East Coast. I mean we pay a premium in shipping. I was in need of some Iron all paper and called Coastal because it was half way across the country from me and closer than New Milford and Imprintables. it was still going to coast me $21 for 50 sheets of paper to be shipped 2 days. well I need it Monday and if I had gone one day that was going to be $48 bucks. That cuts into the pocket book. Well I found a source in Southern cal that sells the Iron all under the name Translution. For me it was a relief as I had a call for 100 memorial tees that need to be done by Tuesday. I only had 100 sheets in stock. So if it helps then the link is below. I have not used their paper but I have been told it is the same paper as the iron all and I talked to the people and they described it so I feel better. This is not to take away from the other sources it just helps us out here in the great state of California. Lou
Once you get the paper, let us know if it turns out to be the same blue backed as ironall. I'll add them to the "list" that shows up when people hover their mouse over the word ironall in posts.
Wow, it's funny that I should stumble upon this thread just now.
I happened to place a call to ColorStar Ink this morning.
Since it's Easter Sunday, I didn't expect anyone to answer the phone and I knew I would just be leaving a message, which I did.
5 minutes later they called back and spent the next hour and 10 minutes talking to me about all the possibilities that I will have with my new OKI laser printer, when it arrives. We talked about different types of paper, different types of end product, different types of marketing opportunities, past papers, future papers, different toners, as well as DTG printers, plastisol, screen printing, different ink systems, and much more.
Translution - Iron All - JetFlex - Everlast is all the same paper under different brand names. There are more distributers starting to carry this Transfer Paper. It's good for price and saving on shipment on distance. Now Transfer Canada carries the everlast brand which is all the same paper. It's great for me i don't have to pay american dollars and shipment from the U.S.A . Since i'm in Canada I save on the price more in my pocket.
