Re: Heat transfers for words I had a sign shop use some sort of computerized program to cut lettering that was then melted into or bonded onto strips of canvas using a high heat press that stood on the floor and was about three and a half feet hight. The end product was a long strip of canvas with a quote on it. I used it for an upholstery project. the owner of the shop sold that machine. Does anyone know what that process is and where I could find a company that would do that sort of printing for me? The lettering was a black plastic and was fed through the cutter from a roll. There were several colors available. You could then wash, iron, do anything with it without it being damaged. It was extremely durable.
