there are several types of heat transfers like inkjet, plastisol, viynl, etc.
You need to be more specific.

Ironall is usually recommended for inkjet transfers.

If you search for inkjet transfers or best, you'll find lots of tips and experiences and vendor sources. If you search for pics, you'll find some photos.
