Dumb Question: how much of the transfer shows on a pressed inkjet transfer?

Default Dumb Question: how much of the transfer shows on a pressed inkjet transfer?

Ok guys bear with me on this question it is most likely a dumb question, but if i buy a epson c88+ printer and print my transfers on tranfers paper when I press the image will only the inked part press on the shirt or the whole sheet of paper show on the shirt?

The unprinted part of the paper will show up to varying degrees depending on the brand of transfer paper you're using...I think most people trim off the excess blank paper with scissors or an exacto knife about 1/8" around their image...

It will show up on the shirt, but it won't look like a sheet of paper. It will look like a clear plastic window.
