Default Is it worth investing in a CIS setup?

I own a Epson 1280..Just getting ready to enter the world of t-shirt printing using a Hix 15 inch clamshell. Wondering if it is worth investing in a CIS. Seems like it would save a lot of money in the long run..or even short term.

It might be best to start out with just pigment inks for the printer and get the hang of it. Then move on to the bulk ink system when you see yourself doing more inkjet transfers.

Rodney is right about that. I brought a bulk system at first and it was nothing but trouble. I changed to the spongless cartridges from mis. They work great. The cartridges were $6 and $4 , I think but real cheap. I also got the chip resetter for future refills. I got the cartridges empty and put in magic mix ink.
