Default I could use your opinion? heat transfer versus dtg

Hi, I'm very new to this business but am about to start printing t-shirts. I'm going to a heat transfer printer today to check out the quality of the print to compare it with a sample I had printed last night off a Brother 541 direct inkjet print on the shirt. The quality was really great from the Brother but what I'm trying to figure out is which print quality is better for the long run?

I'll probably be printing on a light cotton shirt because I like the feel. Which style printing, heat transfer or direct to the shirt is better for this quality shirt?

Thanks

Are you talking about an inkjet heat transfer versus a print from a Brother DTG machine.

I'd probably say the Brother DTG machine will have the better long run quality.

Probably the Brother, but since you're going to have samples printed anyway it shouldn't be hard to make a comparison (do some wash tests, see which one holds up better).
