Default Color laser printer for transfers and vellum

Hi! I am looking for recommendations for a color laser printer that will handle vellum (like Casey's for film positives) and color printing for color transfers on paper similar to American Eagle laser transfer paper.

I currently use the QMS Magicolor 330 that has worked well--but it is on its last leg. This must also be able to print halftones.

Thank you.

Apologies for the two posts (I am new and could not delete the other post)

Anyone have any experience with this? I don't think this is uncommon!

I don't know - the magic color qms's were good for a while but never meant for long runs.

As for printers, the new ones all go towards the fuser-oil-less route. Those guys at american eagle still have a few papers for that because it still depends on printers.

But their regular paper I found out is still MUCH better. It hold the color red better than any paper and seems to never have blotches. It is softer hand and better washeability. But thier regular paper - I beleive theri 2P works on printers and copiers that have fuser oil - like your 330

If push comes to shove, I know they print for you for a good price - no headaches and ruined paper. You get what you ordered. Only thing is you will have to get a printer for your casey vellum.

I think you are using that for your screen print, right. In that case, get a cheap black and white laser printer - they give you a superb result versus trying to get a color laser to print black. IMO.
