Well, I'm not sure on that price to be honest. When I bought my first equipment (heat transfers, mug press and so on) I went with a company that could give me a bit of guidance. I mean I know there's a ton of it out there, but I like the warranty stuff and the trouble shooting one on one. I bought a mug press from e-bay once. It needed repaired, minor repairs, but still repairs. The press cost me on e-bay $450.00 Brand new it cost I think $200 more. But still its' a GREAT way to get started! Be excited!!! It's a whole new world!!! Congrats to you on your business venture! I wish you all the best! Greg
The first thing to think about when you buy equipment is whether or not you really need it. For example, if you don't need a mug press and a hat press right now, you could save a lot of money by getting them later. You can then use that money for marketing, which is very very important if you want your business to be successful.
Also, as Greg mentioned, it's important to make sure that your equipment has a warranty and can be serviced in your area. If you buy from eBay, that might not be possible.
WOW !! I wish I had this forum when I started out. Both Greg and Jasonda gave some sound advice. I would like to add you would be best served to buy equipment that has a good reputation. I normally advise people against the less expensive ( non established brand name) equipment from Ebay. Their is lots of information on equipment on this forum. I wish you the best of luck................. JB
