Default dye toner vs durabrite ink 50/50

Has anyone ever compared dye sub toner with durabrite inks on 50 /50 T shirts ?
So far, the image with durabrite inks after 8 washings is as bright and good as the day it was printed. Cold wash, no bleach and hot dryer.

I have no experience with dye sub toner and okidata prints.

Thanks

I would imagine the dye sub inks would look very faded after several washed on a 50/50 shirt. The ink does not stick to the cotton, so only half of the image will actually still be there after a few washes, basically. Generally people recommend at least 65% polyester content for good results with dye sublimation.

Of course you can't use durabrite ink with a laser printer so it is apple and oranges. They both have their good and bad points.
