Angry Removing some plastisol before pressing

I have an order that is on its way to me. I noticed after it was printed there was a small error in the logo, you never see it unless you compare the original to the new one but it's there nonetheless. The client never got back to me to approve (I told her if I didn't hear from her in an hour - last Thursday - I'd go with the logo)

I talked to Ace and they thought it would be ok to try and remove some of the plastisol. I would have to cut the plastisol to make the line and then remove some.

Ace can't do a rush job today so I wouldn't get them till Wed which is too late.

Anyone tried to edit a logo on plastisol? The client doesn't even know about the error. This has been a horrible horrible order. I just did damage control on sizing and hate to bring this up BUT!

I was going to reprint out of my pocket but time constraints..... <sigh>

See attached files. The blue one has the error, it's in the left side, the string of the maypole thing is more of a blob.

Thoughts?

The client is responsible for errors in their artwork. You shouldn't have to pay for fixing their mistake.

It wasn't necessarily their error. The artwork they gave me was no good, I had to convert it. In the conversion I missed that one little area (all the grey areas are being printed as blue)

I sent that file to the girl I was working w/for approval, with the 1 hour contingency, last Thursday and never heard from her.
