Default Any good opaque transfers that breathe?

I've been making t-shirts with heat transfers opaque, because I'm mostly using black shirts for about 6 months.

When I initially did my research, I thought I found the best tansfers. I'm using Coastal Jet Black. The problem I'm having is that I'm doing just about full page, sheets, 8 1/2 X 11 and they don't breath and they're hot! I'm doing full color photograph images, so having them printed is too expensive. Does anyone have any info that I am missing or ideas that will help?

I think all the opaque inkjet transfers that I've seen have that same problem.

Thanks for the response. I'm bummed about that.
Any other ways to do full size transfers on black shirts that don't get too hot? Are there any that maybe aren't as thick, but still hold up?

For photographs, probably not. Maybe a plastisol (screen printed) transfer.
