I have found this forum invaluable and often turn here when I have questions. I have just encountered a situation that I feel I needed to share with the T-Shirt Forums community.
Inkjetfly.com is a trusted source!
I had ordered a CIS system from inkjetfly for my Epson R220 (which I only use due to it's cd/dvd printing capabilities) because I needed to move to pigment ink, and frankly was looking to save money on ink.
I did some research and didn't find anything "bad" written about inkjetfly.com, so I decided to place an order. Their prices are fair and they had what I wanted.
It arrived within days, and I eagerly installed it. To my dismay my print utility was telling me that I was out of ink and the dreaded red light was lit on the printer. I tried reinstalling, turning things on and off, unplugged the printer, replugged, etc. Nothing worked.
So, I contacted Leo at inkjetfly.com. He responded within 2 hours! He alerted me that he thought the chip set was bad and that he would replace the CIS system ASAP.
Indeed he did. I received the next system within days again. Installed, and... nothing. Well, by this time I was very frustrated. I had a business to run and I couldn't waste anymore time playing around. I was gonna bite the bullet and buy expensive cartridges... and they still weren't going to be pigment.
I contacted Leo again... he responed again... within 2 hours or so... again! On a Sunday!!
He explained that he had received faulty systems from the manufacturer and that it was being taken care of as fast as possible, but in the meantime he offered to refund my full purchase price with apologies.
In the meantime I had purchased an Epson C88 after reading about them. It was rather inexpensive and it used Durabrite ink... pigment, which I needed. I wrote to Leo explaining that I would give him one more shot. I was willing to exchange systems for the C88 as long as the difference was refunded.
He happily agreed and thanked me for giving him a chance to make it up to me as a valued customer. He also explained that he had the correct chip set for the other system and if I wanted he would send them to me to fix the R220 CIS system and keep BOTH of them for my troubles.
Well, it arrived today and I'm happy to say that it indeed works, flawlessly.
I haven't tried fixing the R220 CIS system, but when I do I will report it here.
It's not everyday that you receive customer service like this. I felt like I wanted to share this experience with everyone here so that they will know that if they plan on making a purchase with inkjetfly.com, you will receive SUPERB service. And I eventually found out that they do indeed have a great product...
Sorry so long, but I felt it needed to be stated. Thanks again Leo! You have really pleased this customer!!

I know one or two people from this forum have bought from them in the past; I wonder how well their CIS systems have held up over several months+ of use?
Inkjetfly probably offers the cheapest CIS systems out there I've seen around, so I was kind of curious about the quality of their product and customer service ;) One down, one to go?
I have the same problem with the CIS for epson R220, just bought it and installed it and tried everything still does not recognize the cartridge. Changing the chip set fixed the problem for you.
