Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Right now I'm using a HP PSC 750 inkjet printer and hp iron-on ( C6050A ) papers for the t-shirts I sell.. I'm considering buying a new laser printer (Konica Minolta 5430 DL) and use it with media from themagictouch.com instead of my current setup. At the moment I'm limited to light garments, but I want to sell dark as well.. The images I use is often in 2-3 colours.
What would be the pro's and con's of switching? Are there any other (better) solutions? I'm making about 5-10 shirts each day.
laser printer are better because they price faster ...
if you want to print on dark garment.. just get paper for dark garment
just remember when you use this paper do not print in mirror image reverse..
one mind
one grind

I use a CanonCLC1110. Sorry, no experience with the minolta mentioned, but I'm sure it will be fine when used with laser transfer papers suitable for printers with higher fuser oil temp and non-fuser oil type. There is a long thread here on the Duracotton, and you can check with their website and or Neenah paper website.
