Yes
Epson C66,CX4800 ect. they will state the type of ink used. Not all are Durabrite though, some Epsons use Dye Based inks.

You can get an epson c88+ for like $70-$80 which prints with pigment inks. Max print size is 8.5 x 11"

You can get an epson 1280 for around $300 and buy pigment ink for it through personalizedsupplies.com or coastalbusiness.com

durabrite is just a type of pigment ink. Pigment ink is the important part for printing inkjet transfers.

The epson 1280 prints larger than 8.5 x 11 and you can get pigment ink for it.

You'll find that many of your questions might already be answered.

you might find that the limit is from the paper size, not the printer.
I seem to remember that you can print banner paper up to 45 inches on most of these smaller printers. When I get a chance I will find the manual from mine and verify it.

might be nice to find the transfer paper in rolls to cut your own length.
