Default Help me choose an inkjet printer

Hi everyone,

As the thread title suggests, i'm looking for an inkjet printer around the $100 - $200 mark. I'd like to use the printer to make good quality heat transfer prints for t-shirts. There are so many printers out there that it has become difficult to select a decent one. What specifications do you guys look for in a printer? Do you have any suggestions on particular models? I've been looking at the

Epson CX3900 as a potential purchase. Any suggestions on this model? Apparently it prints using durabrite ink. I'm told this is good for t-shirt transfers, is this true? I appreciate all help provided.

Thanks in advance,

Poss

What you want to be sure to get is a printer that uses pigment inks. (Durabrite from Epson) if it does not have the Durabrite logo on the unit then it is a dye ink printer and you should stay away from that. Your price range in in the ball park as you can get a good quality c88+ for 80 bucks and an all in one for up to $180.
