what should i look for in hat heatpress? i see a lot cheap ones on ebay ?
any toughts? not looking at used stuff.

Look at the name brand first. Then look at the hours it has been in use. Then look at the pad, then look at the handle, then look at the element. Then look into the mirror and ask yourself if you want it.

OH.......National, Stalls, Hix....I guess that would be up to you as far as brand and price goes. I had a National and it worked great.

Here are some things that you may want to consider:

Cap hold down device?

Optional platens for different crown caps? Are they easy to change?

Heater Area for sleeve, left chest and label prints?

Is the heater teflon coated?

Warranty?

Adjustable pressure?

How does it measure those 3 key elements: time, temperature and pressure?

Automatic Opening?

Degree of opening?

Size and Weight?
