Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
The metal wheels where the paper feeds out are leaving track marks on my printed designs. It's not extreme, but it's enough to look un-professional. See second photo for an example.
I know alot of people use this printer, has anyone had this problem, or is it a problem with my printer?

I've tried various software settings with regards to paper settings and print quality. I've only had this printer a couple weeks. This seems unacceptable.
Also, does your C88+ look similar from the front. Does the metal wheel touch the rubber wheel?

I know Lou has mentioned problems with wheels on the C88 (and that he removed some from his printer), but I don't know whether or not it's the same ones causing the problem. It's come up before though, so it's probably a design flaw rather than a problem with your specific printer.
This happens because of your ink/paper combination. The wheels are going through the ink before it has a chance to dry fully. Sometime removing the wheels can solve the problem or changing your paper type.
If you do a Google search on Epson Pizza Wheels you will find others talking about it. Epson does not acnoledge it as a problem becuase if you use their ink and paper it will not happen.
Thanks for the help,
I just found the thread Lou discussed this.
If I remove the pie cutters (guide wheels) I'm hoping it'll still push the paper through the printer. We'll see.

I've had this printer a few months and haven't had this problem. How old is your printer? Would be helpful so the rest of us could look out for any future problems like this. Good news is the printer only cost me like $60, which is almost like a disposable.
