Default cant figure out what this is!!!

i was wondering what this transfer is or might be...
i know they do inkjet transfers, but can u get the same background with the tshirt? I mean printing the same background in the tranfer same as the one on the tshirt...Is the result satisfactory?for the customer i mean and if it lasts for many washes...
might sound stupid all these, but so far i have been printing only on white tshirts, so darks are an unknown territory for me

thank u in advance for your thoughts!

With opaque inkjet transfers, you won't be able to get the background to look the same as the shirt. You will need to trim around each transfer to remove the background.

This kind of design would work better as a plastisol transfer or vinyl. See these threads for more info:

A little help with some of the basics? Vinyl Transfer?

Are you sure it's an "inkjet" transfer or just a "heat transfer" of some type?

i am not sure i suppose it is an inkjet transfer...i cant figure out from the photo, but i know they do custom prints not large volumes to justify plastisol(this is a competitors tshirt ). anyway how is it possible to produce such designs using opaque paper?u have to cut as close to the design to eliminate the background, right?

Yes, that's correct. The design will have a white background if you don't cut it out.

Plastisol transfers and vinyl do not require large volume. From that picture it looks like it is one of those two print methods.

You don't need large volumes for plastisol transfers. Some companies can print as few as 6-10 sheets.

It could also be a vinyl transfer that is cut with a vinyl cutter.
