Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Ive had mine for about 9 months and it has a crap load ( actual technical term) of presses on it. Ive done multi colored vinyl designs and a few orders with Plastisol and vinyl mixed.

How important is the teflon sheet ?
When we were at ISS and talking to a guy he said they never used one just the parchment paper. Is either one okay or is the teflon a better way to go.
should the bottom platen on a swingman be covered in one of the wraparound telfon covers ? or just use the paper too ?
parchment and teflon is used for the same thing as i understand. I dont use parchment, but if I understand correct, it gives a slightly different finish to your work.

I have to admit, I am starting to notice a line on some of my larger designs. Like a crease or fold is causing it. I may need a new one soon too.
You can lay it on the bottom if you want, or not. Most people use them on top of the shirt/design. It really depens on what you are doing. Vinyl? Inkjet Transfer? Sublimation? Plastisol Transfers?
