Default Plastisol Transfers help?

So I placed an order with boo-z and I got the transfers. Unfortunatly they did not give ma any suggested pressing times or temps. I emailed them and got no reply and I looked all over their website to try and find info with no luck. Anyone have any suggested starting points?
Thanks

If the transfers are hot peel or hot split...set the press at 385-400 and press for ten seconds then peel corner to corner in a smooth motion. Make sure you pre press the shirt for at least 10 to 20 seconds especially black heavyweight. If the transfers are white ink going on darks reduce the dwell time to around 8 seconds.

Thanks David! This may sound like a stupid question... I pressed one transfer on the back of a white shirt and got some blow through on to the inside of the front of the shirt. Should I be placing a piece of paper ar a silicon sheet in the shirt before I press or did I press for to long? I pressed it at 380 for 10 sec.

You might try reducing the pressure a bit and placing a teflon sheet inside the shirt. I have done a bunch of transfers and that problem has never happened to me. Are you using lightweight blanks? I think your dwell time is right on as well as the temp. I the transfers press totally you could try a 2 second shorter dwell but I think its more a pressure deal.

I use Boo-Z tranfers all of the time and have not had the "blow through" problem. I press at 380 degrees for 10 seconds applying white to dark navy blue shirts. The only thing I do different from what I have seen here is that I only pre-press for 8 to 10 seconds. Additionally, I use "firm" pressure instead of "heavy" pressure.

Tees are not our primary product and we don't do them every day but, I have used Boo-Z transfers for well over four hundred shirts on the front, back and right sleeve (also a couple of hundred ball caps.) Out of the roughly 1200 pressing operations that entailed, I did not have a single problem with the transfers. In fact, the only bad shirt added to the mistakes pile is one where I was in a hurry and put the graphic on upside down.

You might try my numbers and see if it works any better.

Good luck.
