Default Ready, Aim, Purchase!

Hi gang,
I want to thank so many of you for your wonderful insights into the t-shirt business. I have spent countless hours here, just reading through the posts which has made me confident in my choices of equipment, heat transfers, etc..
What I found to be the hardest choice to make was a heat transfer press & I made my decision through seeing the pros & cons of each press. So, what I decided to buy was the Mighty Max 16 x20 for several reasons. First & foremost it is a sturdy & reliable press, much like the Hix model. I needed to buy a clam shell to save space, but if I could have purchased a swing away, it would have been the 16 x 20 DKS. The second reason I chose the Mighty Max is that its opening is 55 degrees, while Hix is 40 degrees. The Geo Knight opens the widest, but I did not want gas shocks as they will leak eventually. While price was not the greatest factor, the Mighty Max cost less, so here is the breakdown.
1. Sturdy & reliable
2. Made by a well known & successful manufacturer.
3. Clam shells save space.
4. It has a 55 degree opening, which will help to keep the heat further away from my arms.
5. It has spring release & not gas.
6. The price was lower than other models in this class.

I also purchased 2 teflon sheets.
1 bottom quick slip pad protector.
Jetflex transfer paper, which is the same as Ironall, but cost less!
5 cases of white tees at 98 cents each.
Last week I bought a Epson c88 at Radio Shack for $39.99

I already have my domain name, business lincense, business bank account, but my store is still under construction.
I just wanted to let you all know that it is because of this forum that I have advanced in my knowledge, even before I even started in business. You have also posted many great leads for everyone to purchase equipment, shirts, etc at great discounts & I believe that I have saved $100.00's already & have purchased some of the best quality merchandise that is out there. Thank you everyone for sharing your love & experience with us newbies!

I just ordered my DK20S last week and am very eager to get going altho a bit nervous. I guess I better buy some paper. lol

Now, I want to clean up my house and get things ready. Decided I am going to keep the heat press in the house oppose to the workshop I had built for it. lol Not a waste of a money, the shop will be used. I probably will still invest in a silkscreen press,,,really enjoyed learning the process. I like to have my hands in everything then I know what I dont want to do.

So now I patiently wait for this 210 lbs bugga to make its entrance into my home. The day I can say goodbye to my job will be a mighty goood day!
