Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I have been viewing many post here and thanks to uncle sam i can finally make a purchasing move.
I was looking at the HIX Presto 15 but noticed badalou (the granddaddy of heat transfer) is using a Mighty Press. Is it any difference. If the money is not the issue should I get the Mighty Press? (not an issue in the hix presto, mighty press range. so don't say well oh you should get the new 16x20) lol
I also will get the c88+ but since I'm just starting out should I get the bulk system off the top or wait until I get a feel for the business?
Do anybody here, live by die by having telfon sheets and if so which one is the most important? Top or bottom?
Were anybody rookies in the design feel and easily picked up on the main software (i.e. Adobe, Corel)
I also have to leave on this note. Why isn't this company called transferbusiness being mentioned. Should I stay away from them. They have a very informative site and seem to know a lot.

They are both good presses. Just a matter of preference really

I would wait until you feel you need it.

I would say the one on the top where the heat comes from is most important.
The one on the bottom that fits on your price is nice to have as well.

I think they have been mentioned on the forums before. Some people just have different vendors that they prefer.
Hope this helps some. Hopefully others will share their experience here as well...
