Default Advice on Gray Sweatshirt - InkJet Transfer or Vinyl?

Hi,
A customer wants a team name put on a gray sweatshirt. I have 2 options available, an inkjet heat transfer or vinyl. Which do you think would work best? How well do the transfers show up on an athletic gray sweatshirt?

Thanks,
Rusty

I agree with Coyote. Vinyl.

Here's a picture of the vinyl on grey sweats. I can't find one of a transfer on grey.

I vote for Inkjet! (just kidding)

Inkjet will let the darker gray grain of the shirt show thru. It won't last as long, and might cost more when you add up the ink and transfer paper. Don't forget you get to trim around all the letters to hide the border.

Vinyl is opaque, the color will pop, and it won't crack, fade or wear off.

OK, I give, use vinyl.

I'd vote for inkjet.

Just so that when the vote is a 99 to 1 landslide (what kind of idiot would vote inkjet afterall) the media will interview me to find out why the heck I was the only person to vote the other way, and I can use the opportunity as a platform to espouse my views on why the penny should be erradicated. It's all part of my grand plan.

Good idea, Solmu. Folks, quick! Everyone change your votes to inkjet... (of course, then I'll be the only one voting for vinyl and I'll get the interview. Bwahahaha!!! )

As for erradicating the penny... I can help. Just have all pennies sent to me.
