Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Hey folks, I just found this site in doing some research and have a question I hope can get answered.
I have been in screen printing for about 4 years, and am now wanting to create my own hot peel transfers. I used transfer Express for a while and currently using Booz. I like their work, but have the abiltly to make them myself and so i want to save some $. I print mainly white plastisol white on dark 100% cotton garments. I have been able to create cold peel and hot split transfers, but I don't know what to do for HOT PEEL. I have 2 types of paper currently have t-75, and T-55 (soft Trans) I dont like the results on the hotsplit and I don't want to wait the cooling time on Cold Peel.
Is there any sources out there that will teach me exactly what to buy ( paper wise) for HOT PEEL.
I just purchased from Ryans Screen Supply transfer powder and also a hot split additive for my ink. They are helping, but not getting me the results I'm used to with Booz/TXPress.
