Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
You just need to keep scouting around. There are a few people here that bought equipment and never really developed a business so you may get lucky. I will tell you this The price is not going to be cheap. This is a hot business right now.
You could look on ebay....or you can be patient, save a little more dough, and get a new one for around $650. In my view, the peace of mind that comes with buying a new press with a warranty is worth the money that you would save on a used one. I know your eager to start, trust me! I assume that the press is for business which makes it an investment. Think about it. Coastal has a 5% discount buy the way.
i had a photo t shirt business before, but I sold all my stuff in 2002. See me and my husband ran it together and he was killed in a car wreck in OCT 2002 and I was afraid to do it by myself...
Re: Need Help !!! - where to find a used heat press?
Try Craigslist.com. That's where I found mine. In my opinion, keep looking until you can find one locally, as some of these beasts way a ton! It is also nice to see the unit and get to know the sellers history of use on the equipment in person, before making the purchase. Jim
