What will a commercial color profile do that I cannot do myself
by adjusting color settings in my printer driver software ?

Just curious if the Color Plus software for $ 105.00 is worth it.
Or the Spyder 2 for $ 185.00 ??

I use C88+ and durabrite inks with spectrabrite paper.

Yes they are worth it. It really all depends on how exact color management is required in your line of work. If your creating specifically for your own line, I would say you can get away with setting up your management yourself. If your creating and producing for other companies, etc. exact color representation/duplication is a must and a non calibrated workflow can cause you to loose valuable time and money.
