Default Buying used heat press

When I find a used heat press for half the cost of a new one, what should I look out for?

I heat press looks very good, comes with stand.

One question I proposed is the warranty transferable? How much longer on the warranty?

I am not big on buying used electronics. I dont like problems but to think I can save $800 is appetizing. I dont want it to be so appetizing that I get messed over and regret this in the long run.

The person is willing to take a credit card, so I dont have to pay cash.

I dont have to worry about s&h. Looks like the equipment had very low use.

A lot of the questions that you're asking depend on the brand of press. In most cases the warranty is not transferrable.

What is the model you are considering?

buying used is like anything else ask your self these questions
1. why is it being sold?
2. is it brand name??
3. how long will it last?
4. if it doesent last ,can you by parts or get it repaired?
5. does it actually work can you see it work?
6. will posibly be purchasing another one,if it its junk and wasting money that
paid for used when you could new with warranty and support

i am new to this looked at my options decided to by new i hate buying stuff 2 times ,but i done it many times

if you can see and touch it then it might be fine

thats my 2 cents

The item has been sold. It was a dk20.

Personally, I need to buy brand new. I know me.

Thanks all.
