I think they're opaque transfer papers printed on an ink jet.

The shirts are screen printed or transfer printed plastisol inks.

Well, Screen printing can also do that, actually. I'm just looking at the "white border" on Bruce Lee's image, so I'm really thinking opaque inkjet transfers. But if it's a name brand, and printed by the volume, then most probably it's screen printed using plastisol ink.

Most inkjets you mentioned will have same results.

I have done a lot of opaque inkjet transfers & I agree it does look like opaque transfers.

opaque transfers are for dark colored fabrics
they adhere to the top of the fabric

looking at the texture of the blacks, I'll have to agree with David and say that it's screen printed or maybe a plastisol transfer.

I second that. Especially when looking at the headphone. Screen printed plastisol definitely. You can't print them in your Epson ink jet printers though.

Opaque transfers printed on an inkjet printer could somewhat do the job, with it's limitations of course. For white shirts, you can also use the (non-opaque) ink jet heat transfer paper.
