Default c88 $39.99

I already have a C88+, but I was looking for ink, and I found that Radio Shack sells c88 with ink for $40.

I havent studied too much about where to buy ink, but for $40 for all 4 ink cartridges (and printer), its worth it right?

Am I missing something? Does the cartridges come half full?

That actually looks like the real deal for $40 bucks. I dont know much about ink cartridge size or if there are actual different sizes. Interesting find no doubt.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think all Epsons come with full ink carts. Even if they are only partial, thats a heck of a deal for ink and a backup printer!

Might just get one myself.

If I'm not mistaken that is not the same as a C88+. It is just a C88, a slower model. Besides the speed I believe it is the same. Lou probably knows better.

Yes I do... is there anything I don't know.. Yes.. Just ask my wife.. Ok the c88 is the older model and they are dumping them because everyone wants the c88+ which is I believe only 5 pages faster. Of course there may be other things that Epson has done but I am not sure what it is. I would buy them all if I was you. The ink in all epson printers is full. But don't ever ask a Best Buy salesman that because he will lie and say they are sample inks. because if he doesn't he could get fired. I know I worked the epson demo at best Buy.. all I heard was did you sell inks , did you sell a warranty.. The add-ons is a big thing.. Hope I helped.

the only thing best buy is good for is to take their price to another store and have them match it.

You can use dye sub inks with the C88, right? I know it's been mentioned but where can I get the dye sub inks? A lot of the retail locations know zero about the dye sub inks, but your right that's a smoking deal on the C88.

Hey All,
Never used a C88 or C88+. Thats a great price, do most of you use it as a backup? If not, hows the quality of the finished transfer with these?
Thx,
Dark

You can find lots of feedback on the c88 printer here:
http://www.t-shirtforums.com/tags/c88/

Generally it's a good inexpensive printer for inkjet transfers.

Ya. Just amazed that a printer so inexpensive is good enough to be used by so many here. That many experts cant be wrong, even at the non-sale price!
