Default Anyone using Forever Solvent-Dark 111?

Is anyone here using the Forever Solvent-Dark 111 transfer paper? I have access to a Mimaki JV3-160SP printer that uses solvent inks and I would like to use it to make some transfers for dark shirts but everybody seems to be saying that digital transfers and dark shirts don't work well together. Would the solvent ink transfer papers work any better than the desktop inkjet or laser transfer papers? Conde carries the Forever Dark line but only in rolls starting at $279. That's a lot of moolah to spend on un-tested paper. Are there any suppliers selling this paper in smaller portions or test sheets? As usual, any info is appreciated.

There are other medias compatible with the solvent printers. I have used the Roland Versacamm which is the same basic technology as the Mimaki and the results are excellent and extremely durable. I cannot vouch for the Forever Dark but I know that there are many quality medias out there.

Any suggestions on brands? I'm looking to order some small pieces to test with and compare but I would like to narrow my search down to a few brands with good reputations from actual users. It's hard to tell from a website and a jpeg whether the paper is any good.
