What's best for photo printing (group photos for fam reunion tshirts)?

Silkscreen or heat transfer?

Screenprinting if there's a lot of them (unlikely), DTG if there's not, dye sublimation if that's not an option, and inkjet transfer if none of the others are an option (which happens often enough).

There are ways you can modify the pictures to keep the colors down to a minimum and more feasable for traditional printing.
Changing the pics and printing as DuoTones for one. 2-3 colors and you still have a great looking print/picture.

the DTG and Dye Sublimation options mentioned above will probably be the best bet for the money.
