I would like to ask where I can get Pigment Ink for Epson C88 on Coastal Business homepage~
and which brand is good?

I believe the brand is Everlast. Do a search on the forum for "badalou" he is an expert with pigment inks and epson c88. He has many video's also here is one where he is installing a CIS on a c88. YouTube - CIS 1

Bottled inks are for a Continous Inking System (CIS) which is something you need to purchase in additon to the printer. As you know the Epson comes with ink cartridges which you can purchase from any office supply business.

I did a video on the use of the CIS from coastal Business. If you just want pigment ink then you can buy the refillable cartridges from Coastal and get the bottles and just refill the cartridges when they are low.

You don't need a CIS to get pigment inks!

Coastal sells two types of ink for the Epson you have. The printer comes with Epson branded Durabrite ink cartridges. The ink is a pigment ink. You can buy the cartridges and replace as you run out just like any other inkjet printer. The box the Epson ink came in should have an Epson part number so make sure you buy that Epson ink.

You may also purchase an Everlast system from Coastal. This is a pigmented Continous Inking System (CIS) that comes in bulk (4 oz) bottles and requires that you purchase the Everlast CIS system components to attach to your printer in order to "feed" the ink into the cartridges. With this you purchase the 4 oz bottles instead of always buying cartridges.

If you are doing a lot of inkjet transfers the bulk system will pay for itself in time as the ink is less expensive when buying in bulk vs individual cartridges.

If you are just starting out I would suggest you buy the Epson branded Durabrite cartridges to start with. These are available at Coastal and other stores that sell Epson inkjet products. If you grow your business to the point that a CIS justifies itself financially THEN purchase a CIS system.

I plan on starting out with Epson cartridges and growing into an CIS.

Actually I think you can get refillable ink cartridges from coastal. In fact I am waiting for a price from Kieth.. As I have another printer (cx7800) that will not take a cis system. So i want to use the same ink that I use for my CIS system in the cx7800.

i have good news about CISS,i buy this CISS from inkexpress4U in ebay.they have pre filled pigment ink.And i try it, it works well i just adjust the color yellow to +15 and works great.By the way i have CX3810 printer.
