Default R260 Epson printer

Somebody please help me. I want to know if the Epson R260 printer good for heat transfers. I just bought one today but I am afraid to open it before i get answer to this question.

Default printer ink: Epson R260

The new printer I just, Epson R260, comes with Claria inks. I s that type of ink good for heat transfers. Please help

:merged your two threads together:

Pigment ink is good for heat transfers. I don't know if they make it available with your printer (or if claria is a pigment or dye ink). It looks like a dye based ink from what I've read.

You may want to invest in a printer that can handle pigment based ink like an epson c88

Or check on the epson website for printers that use their "durabrite" ink which is a pigment ink.
