Default EnduraTex AllMark peeling from spandex

My wrestling booster club customer came to me today with her spandex singlets from last year. We had cad-cut and heat pressed EnduraTex AllMark in 3 colors on black singlets. Many of the prints were starting to peel or curl back at the sharpest points of the design. One of the singlets had a large portion of the print missing (I've attached a photo) but she couldn't tell me if it had washed off, fallen off or had been pulled/picked off.

We followed the application instructions to a T when we originally applied the graphics. What types of things can cause a heat applied print to come off? Not all the singlets had issues so could there be variables at play as far as washing styles of different people go?

We resolved the issue by snipping off the curled tips of the print and repressing. In the instance of the missing piece in the picture, we cut a new piece and applied it over the original location.

Everybody is happy but I'm still left scratching my head about why those prints may have curled.
