Default Can you take off the resedue from eco film??

Good day folks.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a prduct that will remove the glue from eco film?

I was doing a small job of hoodies and I pressed a custom number cut with spectra eco film on a sweater and put the darn wrong # on the sweater.

I removed the # and it left a glue mark from the #.

I was wondering if there is any product that can remove this glue from the sweater without leaving a stain or smell???

Please help.

I may just have to order another sweater and eat the cost.

I would suggest acetone or getting some letter remover from Stahls.

Methylene Chloride Solvent (dichloromethane) will remove the residue. Use from underneath to remove eco-film and then gently on the top, followed with a quick "wash-rinse-wipe" and should remove what's left.

Hope you got on ok with that Rich but for anyone not entirely happy with the results from using the Dichloromethane you can try:

Heat pressing the area imediately after you've removed the logo.

and also for ultra stubborn residue:

Heat press imediately with some used backing over the top of the affected area.

-just wanted to share that.
