What's the best way to print a two color design (white + navy) on dark shirt?

Default What's the best way to print a two color design (white + navy) on dark shirt?

Hi all,
I'm in the process of setting up a t-shirt business and thought i had found the right combination to launch... start with heat transfers and then add in screen printing as the orders get larger !
Only thing is, my first graphic (which will be the base for subsequent designs) consists of two color (white + dark tone) lettering - (see 2 sample attachments). I think I may be heading for trouble because of the white.
What would be the best way to achieve quality results?
Thank you!

Custom plastisol heat transfer. You can get by in the second image if you put dark outline on the wide white outline of the large characters since the background/fabric color shown is gray. The white part of the image will be the color of the fabric. I would suggest to use Imageclip for laser or for inkjet. Both papers are self weeding. Meaning no polymer in unprinted areas. Just like a custom heat transfer would be except both papers are for light fabric.

You can also mix opaque and Imageclip. Use opaque for "IS" and the rest with Imageclip. You have to either hand trim or use vinyl cutter to trim the opaque. Trimming with vinyl cutter is more consistent.

Depending on the quantity it is cheaper to go with Custom plastisol heat transfer for large volume.

Thanks for the response, Luis. I'm going to start the hunt for a company that makes custom plastisol heat transfers here in France. You guys in the States seem to have all the resources! Everything is hard to find here, so if any of you out there have suggestions, I'd be grateful!
