I've posted questions on this before but never got any replies on it so I would like to post it again to see if there's others out there who's using this combo like me and is successful at making it work.
Thanks

so what you're saying is that you get this to work on a mac when it's not supported? do you use it only for generating shipping labels?
Macs from a certain OS and up come with the Zebra driver now. I'm on Tiger 10.5.8 and I'm told that the necessary driver is already built in to the computer (EPL2 is the driver). I'm trying to print 4x6 shipping labels and I'm using Endicia shipping software but every time I print I get an error message. I was just wondering if any others are using the Zebra 2844 and on a mac so I can ask some questions to see if I can get mine to work.
OK, I just went through HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for 4 straight days trying to figure out why my Zebra LP 2844 couldn't print with my Endicia for Mac account and finally a tech support from Endicia figured it out for me and now I can print shipping labels on my Zebra printer with Endicia for Mac.
Hear this out mac users!!!!!!
If you've just signed up with Endicia and plan to use a Zebra LP 2844 printer with your account you MUST make sure your ZEBRA PRINTER HAS A USB PORT IN THE BACK. I bought an older model that did not have a USB port so I tried connecting to my mac with the other ports that it has...parallel and the serial ports and that didn't work but for 4 days I was pulling my hair out thinking that it was software when it was just simply missing a USB port. I want to share this with all the mac users who plan on using Endicia with the Zebra LP 2844 because I don't want anyone to go through what I did.
Good luck mac users!!!!!
