Compatible how? Corel can import photoshop files. But they use different file types. Photoshop files are raster, Corel are vector.

You can place/import a bitmap image(photoshop file) into a vector file to combine bitmap and vector elements. You will not be able to manipulate the bitmap image in coreldraw however. if you need to make changes, go back into photoshop and make your changes then replace/import the bitmap image again.

I often place bitmap images into illustrator when i have pictures with type incorporated in the design. i keep all the type in vector to keep them clean and sharp.
