I had the same prob.
go to file and select print-dont hit the icon in menu bar- the print window should pop up and you need to select advanced preferences- from there go through the various preference windows and one should have a box in it which you need to check that says "preview before printing"- or something like that. then select print. after a couple of seconds a window should pop up with your print preview and from there you can print or cancel.
anyway, thats the way i did it. hope this works for you.
That sounds great, but I can only see the 'export as bitmap' option. What am I missing?
What Dave is trying to say is that you should install a software that has a .PDF writing, for example is Adobe Acrobat Pro which installs a .PDF writer/printer as an additional printer for your output which is ".PDF"
If you have MS Office Pro, your computer is installed with an additional printer that generates a softcopy of the print job whenever this printer is selected to do the output like "ONENOTE"
hi can anyone help i am new to this just got a vinyl cutter and want to make t shirts for my boy he is a street dancer so need some cool t shirts with street dance things on them was told to use inkscape but cant get the hang of how to work it thanks
Romano....since Inkscape is free there is no official manual or users guide but there are some tutorials on YouTube and there are some 'how to' books in the larger book stores like Barnes and Noble. You might look at Amazon or eBay. It s not a program you learn overnight. If one is we to design, there is a substantial learning curve. Keep at it, if I can do anyone can
Google 'Inkscape tutorials' and you will get at least 7 sites with various tutorials
