Can cdx4 be installed on a machine already running cdx3 and not fubar the already installed version ?

I swear while back I installed the trial of x4 and when I removed it it fubared my x3.

Yes, when you installed the trial you may have unintentionally clicked that previous versions be deleted.
Now if you are putting x4 on a x3 computer you are just upgrading the systems so make sure you purchase the upgrade not the full system.

what does fubar stand for? I assume it's an acronym and I can guess the first two words :-)
